Description

The waterfall is 25 meters high. It has three levels and a fairly gentle slope, but this does not diminish its beauty. You can view it from below and above, and there is a path along the waterfall where tourists can walk, enjoying the beauty of the area.

The sight is truly beautiful. Bright sunlight sparkles in the water spray, creating rainbows in places. The water among the greenery appears pure blue and transparent, and the water droplets add a coolness to the air that is often lacking in hot Thailand.

Useful Tips

  • During the high season, Ton Prai Waterfall looks like a small stream slowly descending a gentle slope. But during the rainy season (from May to November), it turns into a bubbling stream, the hiss of which can be heard from afar.
  • Despite being a tourist spot, comfortable shoes are needed for the walk. It is advisable to choose shoes with rubber soles, as the paths may be washed out in places due to the abundance of water, and the rocks can be quite slippery.
  • In the same national park, there is another waterfall that tourists visiting Khao Lak often visit. This is Lampee Waterfall. It is not as large, but it is also interesting and worth attention. One entrance ticket allows you to visit both waterfalls in one day.
