Tonsai Waterfall on Phuket is the second largest. Considering that the biggest waterfall on the island is about 15 meters high, this one will not impress with its size either. But the place is picturesque, so it is definitely worth a visit.

Tonsai is a small but beautiful waterfall located in the northeast part of Phuket. The nature here is stunning, it is almost always fresh because the trees provide shade from the bright sun, and the cool water splashes refresh the air.
The water falls into a small pool where locals enjoy swimming. If you are tired from walking or feeling the heat, you can follow their example.
The highlight of the area is the large number of tropical birds. You can observe them from a close distance. On the way to the waterfall, you will also see white palm trees – rare trees first discovered in Thailand.
The park is open from 8 AM to 6 PM. Entrance fee:
- Price for adults - 200 baht
- Children's ticket - 100 baht
The best time to visit the waterfall is from 8 AM to 4 PM.

To see the waterfall, you need to walk a 2-kilometer trail through tropical trees. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because the path can sometimes become difficult to navigate.
Once you arrive, you can relax in the shade, enjoying the chirping of tropical birds. It is a great place for walks, with gazebos and benches, and there is enough space to set up a tent.
The waterfall does not have strong streams of water during the high season. It gains power only during the rainy season, so for a full experience, it is best to visit between May and November.
