- Midway viewpoint: Located halfway up the hill, this spot offers a great view of the city and coastline. It’s perfect for a rest and taking photos.
- Summit viewpoint: At the top, you’ll find a 360-degree view of the island. On clear days, you can even see the Phi Phi Islands.
- Monkey Hill is open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The best time to visit is in the evening, close to sunset. A walk through the green forest at this time is truly enjoyable.
- Wear comfortable shoes: The climb is steep, so proper footwear is essential.

You can reach the base of the hill by tuk-tuk, motorbike, or taxi. From there, you can continue up by vehicle or on foot. The distance to the top is about four kilometers, and along the way, you will already encounter monkeys—so driving fast is not an option.
